Another post from Brazos River Ranch

How time passes...before  you know it its a year that goes by.  Unfortunately, I haven't been able to do a whole lot of stamping because life gets in the way.  My life I am referring to has everything to do with Brazos River Ranch.  We have promoted a picture of the day production and I thought I would post them on my blog.

The beautiful part about this is that I get to see this everyday...I am one lucky stampin' girl!!

Come visit us at

You too can come and see what I get to see during the summer, just call and make reservations.

Fishing Vest

Hello Fellow Stamping Friends and Bloggers,

It has been some time since I've posted on my blog.  I have to say that life gets in the way of stamping, unfortunately.  But fortunately, I can get back to it.  That's the nice thing about Stampin' Up!  We can work on our own set schedule.   I haven't been crafting because I have been at our family ranch, Brazos River Ranch.  Check out some of the photos that were taken over the summer.

Here is a video of Austin, my 5 year old son, fishing with his new fly rod at Brazos River Ranch.  He is my inspiration for the card I have posted today

This is Austin first fish he caught with his new fly rod. Not his first fish ever but his first with his new fly rod at Brazos River Ranch

Early morning view from the Cabins

We called him Blondie... beautiful Bear!!

After a night of rain this is what you get to see from your cabin.
The beautiful Brazos River in New Mexico.
I love to see the Cow Elk with their calves!

So here is my card that I created, inspired by my son, Austin.  For the love of Fishing!!!

My Friend Cajun Craze

Happy Saturday morning everyone!

Today's post came from a hostess gift I gave my latest hostess.  It is a simple card and it can be tweaked any way you want for any type of card.  For the main image on this card, I used a clear block from the blocks you use fro you clear mount stamps. I inked up and placed it on the card stock.  Then I took a stamp and stamped the image in the clear block image.  Then I used my simply score board to "frame" my image.  It is a very quick and easy card.  I hope you like it!

Project Recipe:
Stamp Set: My Friend
Ink: Cajun Craze and Early Espresso
Paper: Cajun Craze and Very Vanilla
Tool: Simply Score Board and Clear Block

Hand- Penned Holiday Present

Hi Stampers!

Today's post was a lot of fun...I saw this technique on someone's blog but I have not been able to remember who's it was. But I thank them for the idea.  I took the new Silver Glimmer Paper, an aqua painter, and an ink refiller to change the color.  You have to use your aqua painter to paint on the ink.  I realized that you have to use the darker colors to be able to see a big change in the paper. I hope you like it!

Project Recipe:
Stamp Sets: Hand-Penned Holiday
Ink: Island Indigo
Paper: Island Indigo, Whisper White, and Silver Glimmer Paper
Tools: Aqua Painter, Hand Held Hole Punch, Ink Refill, Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch,
Accessories: Silver Mini Brad, White Baker Twine, and Mini Jingle Bells

Thanks for stopping by!!
